Hi, this is a website and blog I started to help promote learning to use your computer your way – the easy way! I look forward to passing on tips and tricks that I have learned since I started using computers nearly 30 years ago. I hope that some of these will help you to become more knowledgeable and comfortable using your computer.
I have completed training for Microsoft Office products including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook. I also have knowledge of Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Gimp, Picasa and Kodak EasyShare photo editing software. I am an avid iTunes, iPhone and Kindle user. I have listed and sold everything from cars to collectibles to CD’s on eBay. I helped to plan and organize my most recent high school reunion using Facebook. I have been able to explain the use of these programs and applications to the novice user in a way that is easy to understand.
I was certified as a Missouri Master Gardener, and outdoor pursuits claimed much of my spare time. But with the oppressive heat and humidity we experience in Missouri, I turned to the cooler and more compelling task of learning all I could about my computer and what it could do for me.
I live in southwest Missouri in the same house that my Great-Grandfather, Grandfather and Mother lived in. I have been married to my husband, Mike, for over 30 years, have two grown children, three dogs, two cats and I am expecting my first grandchild soon. I have helped my mom and my co-workers with their computing needs – let me help you, too!

Thank goodness there is this website to help people when they need it! I always run into issues with my computer that take me eternity to fix! And questions about random things that noone seems to be able to answer! Next time I’m definitely asking Mom’s Guru!!! Thanks!
